Rhenus SE & Co. KG. has purchased 100% of Cesped Group, a leading non-asset based transportation solutions provider, including road, ocean and air freight services and logistic solutions.
 
Founded over 35 years ago, Cesped Group has developed a leading position in the domestic and international shipments and transports industries, ranking among the top 10 Italian private companies in the sector. The Group operates in the field of road, sea and air shipments through 17 shipping centers in Italy and 2 wholly-owned subsidiaries in Poland and Romania. Over 85% of the business is international. In 2018, Cesped Group generates revenues in excess of 200 million euro.
 
CP Advisors acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Cesped Group’s shareholders in the sale process which resulted in the divestiture of Cesped Group to Rhenus SE & Co. KG, one of the largest European players in the logistics industry with approximately 5 billion euro in revenues, 610 locations around the world and over 29,000 employees.
